BHES is a black-owned multidiscipline engineering firm offering turnkey solutions in various industries, including energy, water, and transport engineering.
As a multidiscipline firm BHES offers a combination of various disciplines, including electromechanical, civil, electrical, and mechanical disciplines for projects ranging from energy infrastructure facilities to building construction such as solar PV farms substations, wastewater treatment plants, industrial buildings, roads, and water distribution systems.
BHES also deals with structural, environmental, and geotechnical disciplines and offers supplementary services such as land surveying, construction materials testing, and geographic information systems (GIS) through various technical partners.

The core team of BHES includes several executive directors with thriving backgrounds and have over 90 years combined experience at different managerial levels in various industries, including electrical engineering, strategic planning, knowledge management, human resource management, financial management, tax and accounting, sales, banking, corporate governance, compliance, business management consulting and experience in start-up growing businesses
Kgabo Mashiane
Executive Director: Managing Director
Kgabo Walter Mashiane is an experienced Accountant who also possesses excellent skills in the area of Supply Chain Management. He brings with him many years of experience in both areas 0f financial and accounting management.
He has worked in various institutions, both as a Specialist and an Executive. He spent time in the banking sector, Energy sector and also managed financials of an International Entity.
Kgabo holds a BCom Degree, Masters in Business Administration and various Senior Management Programme Certificates from International accredited business schools including Global Executive Development qualification.
Muzi Hlophe
Non-Executive Director
Muzi is the current Managing Director of Blue Hills Engineering Solutions and he holds directorship in various private companies. Muzi is a member of the Institute of Professional Engineering Technologists (IPET), affiliated to the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) and he is also a member of Water Institute of South Africa (WISA). He brings with him a combined experience of 32 years in areas of maintenance, engineering, project management, contract negotiation and business development from both private and public energy sectors.
Muzi holds a Power Engineering Technology Degree, Post-Graduate Diploma in Management, Higher National Diploma in H/C Electrical Engineering, various certificate in Senior Management Programs and has completed all theory MBA related studies at Henley Business School.
Herve Kabanda
Senior Project Consultant & Team Leader
An experience Electromechanical Engineer with 10 years of experience in Energy infrastructure development and construction. He earned a specialized engineering degree in Sustainable and Renewable Energy Engineering from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada.
His construction sector experience spans across different geographic locations such as Canada, Kenya, and Rwanda. He also has years of hands-on experience in infrastructure project lifecycle from project initiation to project development and execution, to project commissioning and operation handover.
He is also an accomplished program manager experienced in initiative development and implementation in large enterprise yielding millions in additional revenue.
